Employee Behaviour in Organizations: Motivation,
Competition & Cooperation
In your future work,
you will be faced with the challenge of tailoring your work while considering
the characteristics of the organization in which you work. The behaviour of the
people you will be dealing with during your work will play a crucial role in
this. To use other people's behaviour and contributions to shape your own work,
it is crucial to develop an understanding of how employee behaviour is shaped
by aspects such as motivation, perceptions, or attitudes, and how this in turn
influences how you deal with risks and uncertainties, how you work together on
tasks, or how competitive thinking and aspirations (e.g., regarding salary or
promotions) arise.
