Informationen
Für Studierende der Chemie im Bachelorstudium (3. Semester) und Studierende des Lehramts an Grund- und Hauptschulen (3. Semester), an Realschulen (3. Semester) und an Gymnasien (3./5. Semester).

Outline
This lecture imparts material chemistry of main group elements, focusing particulary on the non-metals of the p-block in the periodic table of the elements. Appearance, synthesis, and important binary compounds (hydrogen, halide and oxide compounds) plus compounds relevant in applications are presented for every element. The lecture is based on the preceding lecture General Chemistry - Inorganic Part (Vorlesung Allgemeine Chemie - Anorganischer Teil, 1st Sem.) and the Lecture of Experimental Chemistry (Experimentalvorlesung, 1st Sem.).
Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Korber
