This seminar will deal with scientific writing in different context with a focus on writing a competitive research proposal.
Coursework:
The P.I.'s of the organic/inorganic instutes will provide a pool of research topics from which the students can choose an area of interest. The students are then asked to write a research proposal which will be defended in a short oral-presentation near the end of the semester.
