Audience: This course is specifically designed for students interested in (bio)analytical chemistry with special focus on (bio)sensors, sensor arrays and sensors for screening. Prerequisites are a B.S. degree in chemistry or similar majors; and general knowledge in fluorescence, electrochemistry, and biochemistry.
Objective: Two main objectives of this course are (1) providing deeper knowledge into the fields of biosensors, arrays and screening assays, and (2) for those students interested providing the opportunity to theoretically design a biosensor/bioassay while taking all aspects of chemical and analytical design into account.
